Sosnowiec is a city in the Silesian Voivodeship of southern Poland, in the historic Dąbrowa Basin, about 10 km east of Katowice. It has about 186,000 residents and forms part of the Metropolis GZM, the large urban area of Katowice and neighbouring cities. Wikivoyage
